Pilot Trial Platform
Quarter-Scale Pilot Platform
Our quarter-scale pilot-ready aircraft represents the bridge between prototype development and real-world deployment. With a fully electric, 2-meter wingspan configuration, this platform is designed for rapid assembly, testing, and iteration. Built with advanced 3D-printed and composite structures, it enables weekly flight testing and direct integration of avionics, telemetry, and payload systems.

Regulatory Milestone and FAA Approval
We are working toward FAA approval for this platform to conduct real deliveries of toxicology samples, blood, antivenom, vaccines, and government stockpile medicine. This milestone will establish Haast as one of the first small-UAS developers to actively navigate medical logistics regulation, paving the way for compliance across FAA Part 107 waivers, Beyond Visual Line of Sight (BVLOS) operations, and medical payload certification.
Scaling
The successful certification and operation of this pilot platform will validate our safety, reliability, and regulatory processes — setting the foundation for larger hybrid VTOL systems capable of transporting organs and other critical biological payloads. Each mission not only advances our flight data and autonomy stack but also proves our ability to deliver life-saving cargo safely and efficiently in real operational environments.
